Basics of Yoga
We are so glad you decided to begin your yoga journey with us. This class will focus on the foundations of a yoga flow and a brief history of Yoga. This is the perfect class for those starting from scratch or if you just want a refresher of the foundational postures of yoga. This is a safe space to ask any questions regarding yoga.
Our Foundations class is a slow yoga flow focusing on the basic poses, cultivating strength, balance and flexibility in a safe and accessible class. This class may be simple but it is not easy; feel free to rest in a child's pose at any time. Be open to the challenge of slowing down.
This class is 60 minutes.
Expanding on the yoga basics, a medium flow sequence to revive and energize. This class is suitable for all with a basic intro to yoga and good mobility. Balancing strength, building movement and stillness this class is perfect for every body. This class varies 60-75 minutes.
Pumpkin Spice * High Energy
Who says yoga is easy?? One of our favorite things about yoga is that each asana, or posture, can be modified to create a custom and unique practice. Your guide will lead you through a challenging set of poses creating some energy. No need to be intimidated, the only expectation is to show up and so what you can at your pace.
Drop your baggage at the door. This time is just for you. Center on the most important person in your life, you. Slow and mindful movement woven with restorative postures accentuated with blankets and bolsters to support your body. You deserve this.
We begin with moving the body through the sun salutations then move onto restorative poses to settle into our minds and bodies to take stock of the sensations within. Restorative yoga is a deeply therapeutic practice. Rest the body. Quiet the mind. Nurture your natural relaxation response. Recover your state of inner repose.
Nidra & Restore
Once we have settled in, we will progress into Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra, sometimes called Yogic Sleep—is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Our intention is for you to leave this class refreshed and balanced.
Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayama, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation. Balancing body and mind enables you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul. No previous experience in yoga is required for you to achieve results with your very first class.
