Basics of Yoga
We are so glad you decided to begin your yoga journey with us. This class will focus on the foundations of a yoga flow and a brief history of Yoga. This is the perfect class for those starting from scratch or if you just want a refresher of the foundational postures of yoga. This is a safe space to ask any questions regarding yoga.
Our Foundations class is a slow yoga flow focusing on the basic poses, cultivating strength, balance and flexibility in a safe and accessible class. This class may be simple but it is not easy; feel free to rest in a child's pose at any time. Be open to the challenge of slowing down.
This class is 60 minutes.
Expanding on the yoga basics, a medium flow sequence to revive and energize. This class is suitable for all with a basic intro to yoga and good mobility. Balancing strength, building movement and stillness this class is perfect for every body. This class varies 60-75 minutes.
Seasonally named! One of our favorite things about yoga is that each asana, or posture, can be modified to create a custom and unique practice. Your guide will lead you through a challenging set of poses creating some energy. No need to be intimidated, the only expectation is to show up and do what you can at your pace.
Drop your baggage at the door. This time is just for you. Center on the most important person in your life, you. Slow and mindful movement woven with restorative postures accentuated with blankets and bolsters to support your body. You deserve this.
We begin with moving the body through the sun salutations then move onto restorative poses to settle into our minds and bodies to take stock of the sensations within. Restorative yoga is a deeply therapeutic practice. Rest the body. Quiet the mind. Nurture your natural relaxation response. Recover your state of inner repose.
Yoga Nidra, sometimes called Yogic Sleep—is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Our intention is for you to leave this class refreshed and balanced.
Find your inner strength and vitality with this one of a kind yoga class. Heidi will guide you through mindful breath work, body stretching and strengthening while using yoga and Pilates based postures, and a little meditation to add to the fun. To top off your practice, savasana will be accompanied by a gong bath. And you just never know, every once in a while, there may be some therapy ball rolling too! Let's do this!
Want to try something new? Ballet Barre class takes a twist on classical ballet technique while incorporating exercise targeting lower body and ab muscles. You will learn the graceful movements of ballet while improving your flexibility, strength, balance, and memory as we learn different combinations. This class is perfect for anybody interested in a unique workout experience. All levels welcome, as this workout is self based and open to variations.
Yin yoga is a slow paced practice where postures are held for longer compared to yang (vinyasa) yoga classes. The postures help you access deeper tissue including fascia and connective tissue, creating more flexibility. Yin yoga is a meditative practice, allowing the brain to shift from active to passive. This class will focus on one of the chakra (energy) centers to connect inward to focus on the benefits of each of these areas. This is an all levels class.
60 minute Power Yoga class incorporating the use of resistance bands to build strength. Come step up your yoga game by combining yoga and strength all in one class.
Yoga Accessible for ALL
In this class, we will work to focus on the here and now without judgement, or anticipation or expectation of what is to come. This relates to our practice and the days, months and year ahead of us. Grab your mat and mask and make this practice a time to celebrate your individuality and honor Yogi YOU. Just as you are. In the here and now. This class is for all skill levels and will be adapted to your needs.
Welcome to the Weekend
Start your weekend off on the right foot! It’s a happy hour, 60-minute medium intensity flow that will leave you feeling great and even better tomorrow morning.
Rock music and abs? Yes, please! If you’re hard core, come on by to this high intensity class and we’ll build some center container strength for fun arm balances.
Pelvic Floor & More
This class will bring awareness to the core and pelvic floor. You will learn to engage core muscles with the breath for safer movements. Build strength gently, but effectively through this practice. A healthy core is the foundation of a healthy body. If you are expecting or are a Mama, this class is perfect for you and open to all.
