Blankets for Babes And Kiddos

Sunday, November 17, 2019 @ 12 PM – 4 PM

LET’S GET OUR TIES ON- Gather up your friends and let's male blankets for children in the hospitals.

Kingfisher Yoga will have some on hand or You will need to bring:

1. F L E E C E! You will need to decide how big you want your blanket to be and whether or not you want the blanket to be different on each side, which I personally recommend.

For a baby blanket you will need 1 yard of each fabric (so, 2 total yards).

For a child's blanket, 1 1/2 yards works well (a total of 3 yards).

For a teen sized blanket will require 2 yards (4 total yards).

2. An extremely sharp pair of scissors. The bad news is the project will definitely dull them in the process since they have a big job to do! You can also use a rotary cutter, some people find this easier.

3. A ruler

4. A 4"X4" piece of cardboard. This makes cutting the first corner easier.
