Kingfisher Yoga opened in 2017 with a mission to provide a comfortable and encouraging community experience supporting each student’s unique path toward health and well-being. At Kingfisher Yoga, we empower students to nourish, transform and unite mind, body and spirit through Yoga.
We are relatively new to the scene here in Lodi. Carla first started teaching yoga at Damage Inc. An ultimate fight club. Nate Gindt, the owner, convinced her that Lodi NEEDED yoga and she needed to teach. That was the beginning of a natural growth in Lodi.
We take pride in building a very special community that our members call their second home. We have raised monies for local charities such as Reach Out Lodi, Lodi Women's Public Library, Blessed Trinity School, and many others. We are also a main sponsor for the Free to Breathe Yoga event, raising funds and awareness for Lung Cancer Research.
We have just moved to our new space inside Willow Tree Wellness, a wellness cooperative that is brand new to Lodi. We are a group of like-minded individuals that want to help our community have access to necessary services to maintain their well-being.
We are on a mission to make the world a better place, one mat at a time.
Our classes are based on Hatha Yoga, a balancing sun/moon practice, and Vinyasa Yoga, a practice that links breath to movement and strengthens the mind-body connection. No matter the age, weight, strength or flexibility level of the student, Kingfisher classes are for everyone. Come discover the health benefits of yoga with a wide variety of class options.
