Lindsey Martin is a Lodi native who began her relationship with yoga at a young age - watching her mother practice in the living room. Since then, Lindsey has become a teacher herself receiving her 200 hour yoga training from Body & Soul based in Dubuque, Iowa in hatha style, heart centered yoga. Lindsey creates classes that are inclusive for EVERY body and strives to make her classes a safe space for students to authentically express themselves.
Class with Lindsey begins with a connection to breath, body and community. Then, gently eases into movement by warming up the body in preparation for a peak pose all while indie and acoustic music plays in the background! Lindsey encourages the use of props for support of your body, of your practice and is always there to answer all of your questions at any time throughout class. Class ends with savasana for 15 minutes of bliss and relaxation.
Lindsey understands that sometimes it’s hard to find time for practice with 3 kids, a handful of eclectic pets, as well as taking time to raise puppies to become guide dogs for the blind, but she is always there holding space for you. Whenever you need respite, you can find it on the mat with Lindsey!
