Sarah Robinson
Sarah completed her Softening of Self Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2024, embarking on a journey to share the transformative power of yoga.
In Sarah's classes, you'll often begin with pranayama (breathing techniques) and an introduction to a theme. This theme offers a glimpse into yogic philosophy or a prompt for personal exploration. "I hope others take moments from my classes to build their own practice," Sarah shares. She believes it's "incredible how the smallest moments can have the most incredible impact. So often, we have no idea when and how our actions affect others. My hope is to offer space and time for practitioners to choose their own meaningful moments."
Among the limbs of yoga, Sarah finds a particular resonance with Niyama (positive duties or observances). She believes that "focusing on cultivating positive attitudes, personal investment, and mindful behavior is a gift we can offer ourselves every day." Sarah emphasizes the "incredible power that comes from self-examination and surrendering our ego to a higher power." Her intention is to "hold space for this examination and growth, both for myself and for practitioners who join me" in her classes.
As a practitioner, Sarah aspires to continually grow by "expanding the breadth of my practice, being in a place of continuous learning, and deepening my own practice." Her dedication to her own growth ultimately serves her students, allowing her to "offer students space and knowledge to grow."
Join Sarah on the mat to discover your own meaningful moments and cultivate a deeper connection to your practice and self.
