Teacher Spotlight on Teri Engelke
Teri Engelke offers two classes a week on Tuesdays:
5:45pm Chakra Flow: An Expanding yoga flow focusing on the Chakras or energy centers of the body
7:00pm Yin Yoga: Yin yoga is a slow paced practice where postures are held for longer compared to yang (vinyasa) yoga classes. The postures help you access deeper tissue including fascia and connective tissue, creating more flexibility. Yin yoga is a meditative practice, allowing the brain to shift from active to passive. This class will focus on one of the chakra (energy) centers to connect inward to focus on the benefits of each of these areas. This is an all levels class.
