I just finished teaching Restorative Yoga this morning and was reminded once again how remarkable community is.
We come not knowing one another.
We soon realize how similar our struggles are, how we need one another, and in presence we lift each other up in the most delightful of ways.
A little reminder for you today:
We spend far more time fixated on changing ourselves than we do on accepting ourselves. Far too much energy trying to let go before we’re ready and not enough on allowing ourselves to feel. Recounting all of the ways we missed the mark, and dismissing all of the ways we’ve shown up for ourselves. Call forth your inner-healer and ask the inner-judge to quiet down. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You are a living breathing miracle. -Sheleana Aiyana
With consistent practice, your life will change.
